Directions Mulvihill
Trail entrance: Brick
Kiln Road, 0.3-mile
north of the
intersection with
Scuttle Hole Road. To
find the entrance to the
trail, look for a black
on yellow road-sign, or
look across the road for
the Bridge Hill Lane
intersection.
When you complete the
Mulvihill hike, cross
Brick Kiln Road onto
Bridge Hill Lane. This
is a .03 mile long cul
de sac. If you were to
bring a car here, there
is parking at the far
end of the cul de sac.
Beyond the cul de sac is
a split rail fence and a
grass path that leads
you onto the Brick Hill
Trail. This trail was
created by the
Southampton Trails
Preservation Society.
It is a one mile loop
trail that takes you
through a beautiful
forest amid a knob and
kettle topography with a
couple of perched vernal
ponds to see along the
way as well. This is a
favorite environment for
endangered tiger
salamanders.
